From you know whoo

It's a lime green day today.

I don't often decorate the inside of my cards,
but this was a cute way to do it.
First I cut through my green panel and the front piece of card,
with a circle die.
Then the owl and balloon were attached to the inside,
popped up on foam pads.
Lastly, I added a labeled message.

Very simple.

Here's what the inside of the card looks like.

Balloon is Clearly Besotted, Make A Wish

March to the Beat

Morning folks.
Phew! It's a bit cooler up in Yorkshire today.
My craft room is in the full sun, all day, and is sweltering.
This weekend I will be ordering blinds!!

Here's a card I managed to put together for the monthly challenge at
I covered the bottom of my band bunnies with a post it note, before inking,
so I just got the top half of them.
Then they were coloured with Copics
(as close to the challenge colours as I could get)

I added a little stitched hillside border for some interest and
popped up a birthday label.
I LOVE these labels.

Challenge.

Choose you colour combo.
(i hope you can see I opted for the 'strawberry' one )

MFT Strike Up the Band. Coloured with Copics.
Mama Elephant - Labeled Messages.

My Sun and Stars

It's my wedding anniversary today
Yay!

What's the traditional gift for 31 years??
Could it be Mama Elephant stamp sets?

I used the same penguin stamp for my couple,
just adding the little hat for the guy, and the bow for the gal.
And, because the card is simple, I opted for a bold
coloured, textured card as background.

Challenges.

CASology - Rough (textured cardstock)
CAS on Sunday - Sequins

Mama Elephant - Arctic Penguins and Labeled Messages
Lawn Fawn - Stitched Rectangle and Hillside Borders
Tiny Bow from WPlus9 Unforgettable
Memory Box Puffy Clouds Die,  Sequins

Some Kind of Super Star

I think I've just about recovered from my dd Annabel's, 4 day hen party.
I would love to tell you all about it, BUT
first rule of hen party, is don't talk about hen party ;-)

My eldest daughter Maria, as Maid of Honour, did
all the hard work organising and planning the whole thing.
She nailed it!

I followed the sketch over at
(I flipped it)
and I love how this simple card turned out,
with it's pretty burst of yellow.

I did manage to drop the 'super' stamp,
so it's at a bit of an angle and the star
covers up an ink splodge.
Hey ho!

Challenge.

Mama Elephant - Three Amigos
Sentiment - Clearly Besotted, Superstar
DP - Echo Park, Bundle of Joy
MFT - Zig Zag rectangle die.   Copics.

Dark and Twisty

Does your card-making reflect the mood you're in?
I think mine does.
I was blue this week.

Our little Westie, Suzie, has been gone for a couple of years now,
but it was only this week that I could bring myself to throw away
the fluffy, pink bunny that she slept with  :-(

So this card was definitely guided by my heart.

I made the wreath from a Lawn Fawn set, simply die-cutting
the leaves and only stamping the blooms.
Then I popped them up on foam pads for a little extra interest.

Challenge.

Lawn Fawn - Penelope's Blossoms + Stitched Rectangle
Mama Elephant - Labeled Messages
Memento Ink - Grey Flannel.  Gems
